About Mitchell!
Mitchell J. Hardy is an actor, singer, and performer originally from Michigan who moved to New York just as the Detroit Lions were becoming watchable again!
Mitchell made his stage debut in the 2nd grade after telling his parents he wanted to be the next Hulk Hogan. He was subsequently signed up for both wrestling and a community theatre production of the Wizard of Oz, where he played a flying monkey and the barrister of Munchkinland. (He was passed up for the role of Mayor because he refused to sing at the audition. Now he won’t stop singing!)
Since that time, Mitchell has performed regionally in musicals, plays, and operas across the United States, namely Michigan, Kansas, Georgia, Florida, and California. His favorite roles to play thus far have been Enoch Snow in Carousel and William Barfee in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. When not singing or acting, he also dabbles in hosting live events. He most recently has traveled the country hosting an interactive trivia gameshow.
Offstage, Mitchell fills his time by annoying his wife, going to the movie theater, being in too many fantasy football leagues, and expanding his collection of physical media. (Ask him how many DVDs he owns!)
